महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-60, verse-2

सूतं रथादञ्जलिकेन पात्य जघान चाश्वाञ्जनमेजयस्य ।
शतानीकं सुतसोमं च भल्लैरवाकिरद्धनुषी चाप्यकृन्तत् ॥२॥
2. sūtaṁ rathādañjalikena pātya; jaghāna cāśvāñjanamejayasya ,
śatānīkaṁ sutasomaṁ ca bhallai;ravākiraddhanuṣī cāpyakṛntat.

2. añjalikena (karṇaḥ) sūtaṃ rathāt pātya janamejayasya aśvān ca jaghāna bhallaiḥ śatānīkaṃ sutasomaṃ ca avākirat dhanuṣī ca api akṛntat.
2. With an Añjalika arrow, he struck down (Janamejaya's) charioteer from his chariot and killed Janamejaya's horses. He then overwhelmed Śatānīka and Sutasoma with bhalla arrows and also severed their two bows.
