महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-60, verse-33

स राजपुत्रोऽन्यदवाप्य कार्मुकं वृकोदरं द्वादशभिः पराभिनत् ।
स्वयं नियच्छंस्तुरगानजिह्मगैः शरैश्च भीमं पुनरभ्यवीवृषत् ॥३३॥
33. sa rājaputro'nyadavāpya kārmukaṁ; vṛkodaraṁ dvādaśabhiḥ parābhinat ,
svayaṁ niyacchaṁsturagānajihmagaiḥ; śaraiśca bhīmaṁ punarabhyavīvṛṣat.
33. saḥ rājaputraḥ anyat avāpya kārmukam
vṛkodaram dvādaśabhiḥ parābhinat
svayam niyacchan turagān ajihmagaiḥ
śaraiḥ ca bhīmam punaḥ abhyavīvṛṣat

33. Having obtained another bow, that prince struck Bhima (Vṛkodara) with twelve arrows. While personally controlling his horses, he again showered Bhima with straight-flying arrows.
