धृष्टद्युम्नं निर्बिभेदाथ षड्भिर्जघान चाश्वं दक्षिणं तस्य संख्ये ।
हत्वा चाश्वान्सात्यकेः सूतपुत्रः कैकेयपुत्रं न्यवधीद्विशोकम् ॥३॥

3. dhṛṣṭadyumnaṁ nirbibhedātha ṣaḍbhi;rjaghāna cāśvaṁ dakṣiṇaṁ tasya saṁkhye ,

atha (karṇaḥ) ṣaḍbhiḥ dhṛṣṭadyumnaṃ nirbibheda,
tasya dakṣiṇaṃ aśvaṃ ca saṃkhye jaghāna sūtaputraḥ (karṇaḥ) sātyakeḥ aśvān hatvā,
kaikeyaputraṃ viśokam ca nyavadhīt.

Then, with six (arrows), he pierced Dhṛṣṭadyumna and killed his right horse in battle. After killing Sātyaki's horses, Karṇa, the son of the charioteer, then struck down Viśoka, the son of Kaikeya.
