महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-60, verse-4

तमभ्यधावन्निहते कुमारे कैकेयसेनापतिरुग्रधन्वा ।
शरैर्विभिन्नं भृशमुग्रवेगैः कर्णात्मजं सोऽभ्यहनत्सुषेणम् ॥४॥
4. tamabhyadhāvannihate kumāre; kaikeyasenāpatirugradhanvā ,
śarairvibhinnaṁ bhṛśamugravegaiḥ; karṇātmajaṁ so'bhyahanatsuṣeṇam.

kaikeyasenāpatiḥ ugradhanvā śaraiḥ
vibhinnaṃ bhṛśam ugravegaiḥ
karṇātmajaṃ saḥ abhyahanat suṣeṇam
4. कुमारे निहते (सति),
उग्रधन्वा कैकेयसेनापतिः तं (कर्णं) अभ्यधावन् सः भृशं उग्रवेगैः शरैः विभिन्नं कर्णात्मजं सुषेणम् अभ्यहनत् ।
4. When that prince (Viśoka) was killed, the fierce-bowed commander of the Kekaya army, along with his forces, rushed towards him (Karṇa). He then struck Karṇa's son, Suṣeṇa, who was greatly pierced by fiercely swift arrows.
