महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-60, verse-31

शरैः शरीरान्तकरैः सुतेजनैर्निजघ्नतुस्तावितरेतरं भृशम् ।
सकृत्प्रभिन्नाविव वाशितान्तरे महागजौ मन्मथसक्तचेतसौ ॥३१॥

31. With lethal and very sharp arrows, those two (Bhima and Duryodhana) fiercely struck each other, just like two great elephants, once in rut and with their minds captivated by the god of love (manmatha), in the presence of a female elephant.
