महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-79, verse-26

कर्णो द्वात्रिंशता चैव वृषसेनश्च पञ्चभिः ।
जयद्रथस्त्रिसप्तत्या कृपश्च दशभिः शरैः ।
मद्रराजश्च दशभिर्विव्यधुः फल्गुनं रणे ॥२६॥
26. karṇo dvātriṁśatā caiva vṛṣasenaśca pañcabhiḥ ,
jayadrathastrisaptatyā kṛpaśca daśabhiḥ śaraiḥ ,
madrarājaśca daśabhirvivyadhuḥ phalgunaṁ raṇe.

26. And Karna (struck him) with thirty-two (arrows), Vrishasena with five, Jayadratha with seventy-three, Kripa with ten arrows, and the King of Madra (Salya) also with ten—they all pierced Arjuna in battle.
