महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-39, verse-26

ततः कर्णो जयप्रेप्सुर्मानी सर्वधनुर्भृताम् ।
सौभद्रं शतशोऽविध्यदुत्तमास्त्राणि दर्शयन् ॥२६॥
26. tataḥ karṇo jayaprepsurmānī sarvadhanurbhṛtām ,
saubhadraṁ śataśo'vidhyaduttamāstrāṇi darśayan.

26. Then Karna, desiring victory and proud among all bow-wielders, struck Saubhadra (Abhimanyu) with hundreds (of arrows), displaying his excellent missiles.
