महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-129, verse-16

ततः सैन्येषु राजेन्द्र शब्दः समभवन्महान् ।
भेरीशब्देन महता मृदङ्गानां स्वनेन च ॥१६॥
16. tataḥ sainyeṣu rājendra śabdaḥ samabhavanmahān ,
bherīśabdena mahatā mṛdaṅgānāṁ svanena ca.

16. Then, O great king, a great sound arose among the armies, caused by the mighty sound of war-drums and the clamor of mṛdaṅgas.
