शाको नाम महाराज तस्य द्वीपस्य मध्यगः ।
तत्र पुण्या जनपदाः पूज्यते तत्र शंकरः ॥२६॥

26. śāko nāma mahārāja tasya dvīpasya madhyagaḥ ,
tatra puṇyā janapadāḥ pūjyate tatra śaṁkaraḥ.

26. O great king (mahārāja), the (tree) named Śāka is located in the center (madhyagaḥ) of that island (dvīpa). There (tatra), the lands (janapadāḥ) are holy, and Śaṅkara is worshipped there.
