ततस्ते ब्राह्मणाश्चक्रुरेकं सेनापतिं द्विजम् ।

9. Then those Brahmins appointed one Brahmin, who was skilled in strategies and brave, as their commander. Thereafter, they conquered the kṣatriyas.
