महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-4, chapter-64, verse-22

स हि शारद्वतं द्रोणं द्रोणपुत्रं च वीर्यवान् ।
सूतपुत्रं च भीष्मं च चकार विमुखाञ्शरैः ॥२२॥
22. sa hi śāradvataṁ droṇaṁ droṇaputraṁ ca vīryavān ,
sūtaputraṁ ca bhīṣmaṁ ca cakāra vimukhāñśaraiḥ.
22. saḥ hi śāradvatam droṇam droṇaputram ca vīryavān
sūtaputram ca bhīṣmam ca cakāra vimukhān śaraiḥ
22. Indeed, the mighty one (Arjuna) forced Droṇa, the son of Śaradvan, as well as Droṇa's son (Aśvatthāmā), Karṇa (the son of Sūta), and Bhīṣma to retreat with his arrows.
