सावित्र्युवाच ।
न कार्यस्तात संतापः पारयिष्याम्यहं व्रतम् ।
व्यवसायकृतं हीदं व्यवसायश्च कारणम् ॥६॥

6. sāvitryuvāca ,
na kāryastāta saṁtāpaḥ pārayiṣyāmyahaṁ vratam ,
vyavasāyakṛtaṁ hīdaṁ vyavasāyaśca kāraṇam.
na kāryastāta saṁtāpaḥ pārayiṣyāmyahaṁ vratam ,
vyavasāyakṛtaṁ hīdaṁ vyavasāyaśca kāraṇam.

sāvitrī uvāca na kāryaḥ tāta saṃtāpaḥ pārayiṣyāmi aham
vratam vyavasāyakṛtam hi idam vyavasāyaḥ ca kāraṇam
vratam vyavasāyakṛtam hi idam vyavasāyaḥ ca kāraṇam

Sāvitrī said: "Father, there is no need for anxiety. I shall complete this vow. Indeed, this (vow) has been undertaken with determination (vyavasāya), and determination (vyavasāya) is the cause (of its success)."
