महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-169, verse-30

ततः शक्रेण भगवान्स्वयम्भूरभिचोदितः ।
विधत्तां भगवानत्रेत्यात्मनो हितकाम्यया ॥३०॥
30. tataḥ śakreṇa bhagavānsvayambhūrabhicoditaḥ ,
vidhattāṁ bhagavānatretyātmano hitakāmyayā.

vidhattām bhagavān atra iti ātmanaḥ hitakāmyayā
30. Then, the revered self-born (Brahmā) was urged by Indra, saying, 'May the venerable Lord establish this here,' out of a desire for his own (Indra's) benefit.
