महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-47, verse-22

प्रमाणरागस्पर्शाढ्यं बाह्लीचीनसमुद्भवम् ।
और्णं च राङ्कवं चैव कीटजं पट्टजं तथा ॥२२॥
22. pramāṇarāgasparśāḍhyaṁ bāhlīcīnasamudbhavam ,
aurṇaṁ ca rāṅkavaṁ caiva kīṭajaṁ paṭṭajaṁ tathā.

22. They also brought woolen, rāṅkava (made from deer hair), kīṭaja (worm-born silk), and similarly paṭṭaja (made from silk strips) cloth, all rich in measure, color, and texture, and originating from Bāhlīka and Cīna.
