महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-15, chapter-36, verse-33

एतत्सर्वमनुस्मृत्य दह्यमानो दिवानिशम् ।
न शान्तिमधिगच्छामि दुःखशोकसमाहतः ।
इति मे चिन्तयानस्य पितः शर्म न विद्यते ॥३३॥
33. etatsarvamanusmṛtya dahyamāno divāniśam ,
na śāntimadhigacchāmi duḥkhaśokasamāhataḥ ,
iti me cintayānasya pitaḥ śarma na vidyate.
33. etat sarvam anusmṛtya dahyamānaḥ
divā-niśam na śāntim adhigacchāmi
duḥkha-śoka-samāhataḥ iti me
cintayānasya pitaḥ śarma na vidyate
33. etat sarvam anusmṛtya divā-niśam dahyamānaḥ duḥkha-śoka-samāhataḥ śāntim na adhigacchāmi.

33. Recollecting all this, burning day and night, and overwhelmed by misery and sorrow (duḥkha-śoka), I find no peace (śāntim). Thus, as I ponder, O father, there is no comfort for me.
