महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-15, chapter-36, verse-20

इमे च देवगन्धर्वाः सर्वे चैव महर्षयः ।
पश्यन्तु तपसो वीर्यमद्य मे चिरसंभृतम् ॥२०॥
20. ime ca devagandharvāḥ sarve caiva maharṣayaḥ ,
paśyantu tapaso vīryamadya me cirasaṁbhṛtam.

paśyantu tapasaḥ vīryam adya me cirasaṃbhṛtam
20. Let these gods and gandharvas, and indeed all the great sages, behold today the power of my long-accumulated asceticism (tapas).
