महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-95, verse-9

वृत्ते शुद्धे स्थिता नित्यमिन्द्रियैश्चाप्यवाहिताः ।
उपासते स्म तं यज्ञं भुञ्जानास्ते महर्षयः ॥९॥
9. vṛtte śuddhe sthitā nityamindriyaiścāpyavāhitāḥ ,
upāsate sma taṁ yajñaṁ bhuñjānāste maharṣayaḥ.
9. vṛtte śuddhe sthitāḥ nityam indriyaiḥ ca api avāhitāḥ
upāsate sma tam yajñam bhuñjānāḥ te maharṣayaḥ
9. Those great sages, ever established in pure conduct, and not led astray by their senses, performed that Vedic ritual (yajña) while partaking of it.
