Words meanings and morphology

उत्तरेभ्यः (uttarebhyaḥ) - from the Northern Kurus (to/from the northern ones, to/from the superior ones)
(adjective)
masculine, plural of uttara
uttara - northern, superior, later
कुरुभ्यः (kurubhyaḥ) - from the Kuru people/region (to/from the Kurus)

यत्किञ्चित् (yatkiñcit) - whatever (whatever, whatsoever)
(pronoun)

yatkiñcit - whatever, whatsoever
From `yad` (which) + `kiṃcid` (something, a little). Here, `yad` takes `kiṃcid` to form a relative pronoun. `kíṃcid` itself is `kim` + `cid`. `t` changes to `ñ` before `c`.
Compound type : avyayībhāva (yad+kim+cit)
  • yad – which, what
    pronoun (neuter)
  • kim – who, what

  • cit – an indefinite particle

Note: `yat` (nominative/accusative neuter singular of `yad`) + `kiṃcit` (nominative/accusative neuter singular of `kiṃcid`). `t` becomes `ñ` due to external sandhi (but here it's often treated as an internal sandhi within a pronominal compound).
