महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-76, verse-20

एवमासीत्तदा वीरे शरवर्षाभिसंवृते ।
लोकेऽस्मिन्भरतश्रेष्ठ तदद्भुतमिवाभवत् ॥२०॥

20. evamāsīttadā vīre śaravarṣābhisaṁvṛte ,
loke'sminbharataśreṣṭha tadadbhutamivābhavat.

20. O best of Bharatas, O hero! At that time, in this world, which was enveloped by a shower of arrows, things were thus. It truly seemed like a wonder.
