महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-76, verse-14

ततो हाहाकृतं सर्वं कौन्तेये शरपीडिते ।
त्रैलोक्यमभवद्राजन्रविश्चासीद्रजोरुणः ॥१४॥
14. tato hāhākṛtaṁ sarvaṁ kaunteye śarapīḍite ,
trailokyamabhavadrājanraviścāsīdrajoruṇaḥ.
14. tataḥ hāhā-kṛtam sarvam kaunteye śara-pīḍite
trailokyam abhavat rājan raviḥ ca āsīt rajas-aruṇaḥ
14. rājan tataḥ kaunteye śara-pīḍite sarvam trailokyam
hāhā-kṛtam abhavat ca raviḥ rajas-aruṇaḥ āsīt
14. Then, O King, when the son of Kuntī (Arjuna) was tormented by arrows, a great cry of lamentation arose everywhere in the three worlds, and the sun became reddish, as if covered by dust.
