महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-67, verse-8

स हि तादृग्गुणस्तेन तुल्योऽध्ययनजन्मना ।
अपत्येषु तथा वृत्ते समस्तेनैव धीमता ।
तमानय यथोद्दिष्टं पूजा कार्या हि तस्य मे ॥८॥
8. sa hi tādṛgguṇastena tulyo'dhyayanajanmanā ,
apatyeṣu tathā vṛtte samastenaiva dhīmatā ,
tamānaya yathoddiṣṭaṁ pūjā kāryā hi tasya me.
8. saḥ hi tādṛk guṇaḥ tena tulyaḥ
adhyayanajanmanā apatyeṣu tathā vṛtte
samastena eva dhīmatā tam ānaya
yathā uddiṣṭam pūjā kāryā hi tasya me

8. Indeed, he (Agastya) possesses such qualities, being equal in learning and in birth, and likewise in his conduct towards offspring, being entirely wise. Bring him as instructed, for honor is indeed to be performed by me for him.
