महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-32, verse-14

प्रसन्नहृदयाश्चैव सर्वसत्त्वेषु नित्यशः ।
आ पृष्ठतापात्स्वाध्याये युक्तास्तान्पूजयाम्यहम् ॥१४॥
14. prasannahṛdayāścaiva sarvasattveṣu nityaśaḥ ,
ā pṛṣṭhatāpātsvādhyāye yuktāstānpūjayāmyaham.

pṛṣṭhatāpāt svādhyāye yuktāḥ tān pūjayāmi aham

14. I worship those who are always gracious at heart towards all beings and are engaged in self-study (svādhyāya) until their backs are scorched by the sun.
