महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-23, verse-27

भीष्म उवाच ।
काल्यमर्थं निषेवेत ततो धर्ममनन्तरम् ।
पश्चात्कामं निषेवेत न च गच्छेत्प्रसङ्गिताम् ॥२७॥
27. bhīṣma uvāca ,
kālyamarthaṁ niṣeveta tato dharmamanantaram ,
paścātkāmaṁ niṣeveta na ca gacchetprasaṅgitām.

27. Bhishma said: "One should attend to material wealth in due time, then immediately thereafter [attend to] natural law (dharma). Afterwards, one should attend to desire, but should not become overly attached."
