पीयमाने च सर्वस्मिंस्तोये वै सलिलेश्वरः ।
सुहृद्भिः क्षिप्यमाणोऽपि नैवामुञ्चत तां तदा ॥२३॥

23. Even as all the water was being drunk up, Varuna, the lord of waters, despite being urged by his companions, still did not release her at that time.
