महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-9, verse-23

एककालं चरन्भैक्ष्यं गृहे द्वे चैव पञ्च च ।
स्पृहापाशान्विमुच्याहं चरिष्यामि महीमिमाम् ॥२३॥
23. ekakālaṁ caranbhaikṣyaṁ gṛhe dve caiva pañca ca ,
spṛhāpāśānvimucyāhaṁ cariṣyāmi mahīmimām.

ca spṛhā-pāśān vimucya aham cariṣyāmi mahīm imām

23. Seeking alms once a day, in two and also five houses, I shall wander this earth, having released myself from the snares of longing (spṛhā).
