महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-9, verse-1

युधिष्ठिर उवाच ।
मुहूर्तं तावदेकाग्रो मनःश्रोत्रेऽन्तरात्मनि ।
धारयित्वापि ते श्रुत्वा रोचतां वचनं मम ॥१॥
1. yudhiṣṭhira uvāca ,
muhūrtaṁ tāvadekāgro manaḥśrotre'ntarātmani ,
dhārayitvāpi te śrutvā rocatāṁ vacanaṁ mama.

antarātmani dhārayitvā api te śrutvā rocātām vacanam mama

1. Yudhiṣṭhira spoke: "Please focus your mind and ears intently upon your inner self (ātman) for a moment; then, even after hearing them, may my words be agreeable to you."
