महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-76, verse-13

पर्जन्यमिव भूतानि महाद्रुममिव द्विजाः ।
नरास्तमुपजीवन्ति नृपं सर्वार्थसाधकम् ॥१३॥
13. parjanyamiva bhūtāni mahādrumamiva dvijāḥ ,
narāstamupajīvanti nṛpaṁ sarvārthasādhakam.

narāḥ tam upajīvanti nṛpam sarvārthasādhakam
13. bhūtāni parjanyam iva,

13. Just as living beings depend on a rain cloud, and twice-born (dvijāḥ) creatures depend on a great tree, so do people rely on that king who is capable of accomplishing all their goals.
