महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-72, verse-22

मा स्म ते ब्राह्मणं दृष्ट्वा धनस्थं प्रचलेन्मनः ।
अन्त्यायामप्यवस्थायां किमु स्फीतस्य भारत ॥२२॥
22. mā sma te brāhmaṇaṁ dṛṣṭvā dhanasthaṁ pracalenmanaḥ ,
antyāyāmapyavasthāyāṁ kimu sphītasya bhārata.

antyāyām api avasthāyām kim u sphītasya bhārata

22. O Bhārata, let your mind not waver upon seeing a Brahmin who is wealthy. If this principle holds true even in the direst of circumstances, how much more so should it when you are prosperous?
