महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-72, verse-21

परचक्राभियानेन यदि ते स्याद्धनक्षयः ।
अथ साम्नैव लिप्सेथा धनमब्राह्मणेषु यत् ॥२१॥
21. paracakrābhiyānena yadi te syāddhanakṣayaḥ ,
atha sāmnaiva lipsethā dhanamabrāhmaṇeṣu yat.

21. If your wealth (dhana) is depleted due to an invasion by a hostile army, then you should endeavor to acquire wealth only through conciliation (sāman) from non-Brahmins.
