महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-12, verse-20

वीरुधश्चैव वृक्षांश्च यज्ञार्थं च तथौषधीः ।
पशूंश्चैव तथा मेध्यान्यज्ञार्थानि हवींषि च ॥२०॥
20. vīrudhaścaiva vṛkṣāṁśca yajñārthaṁ ca tathauṣadhīḥ ,
paśūṁścaiva tathā medhyānyajñārthāni havīṁṣi ca.

paśūn ca eva tathā medhyāni yajña-arthāni havīṃṣi ca
