महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-116, verse-11

तस्य कामात्मनो बुद्धिः साक्षात्कालेन मोहिता ।
संप्रमथ्येन्द्रियग्रामं प्रनष्टा सह चेतसा ॥११॥
11. tasya kāmātmano buddhiḥ sākṣātkālena mohitā ,
saṁpramathyendriyagrāmaṁ pranaṣṭā saha cetasā.

sampramathya indriyagrāmam pranaṣṭā saha cetasā
11. His intellect (buddhi), whose intrinsic nature (ātman) was desire, was directly deluded by Time (Kāla). Having thoroughly agitated his senses, it (the intellect) was lost along with his consciousness.
