महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-116, verse-10

जीवितान्ताय कौरव्यो मन्मथस्य वशं गतः ।
शापजं भयमुत्सृज्य जगामैव बलात्प्रियाम् ॥१०॥
10. jīvitāntāya kauravyo manmathasya vaśaṁ gataḥ ,
śāpajaṁ bhayamutsṛjya jagāmaiva balātpriyām.

10. The Kuru prince (Pandu), having fallen under the sway of the god of love (Manmatha) to the very end of his life, abandoned the fear born of the curse and indeed approached his beloved (Madri) by force.
