भगवद्गीता       bhagavad-gītā - chapter-4, verse-9

जन्म कर्म च मे दिव्यमेवं यो वेत्ति तत्त्वतः ।
त्यक्त्वा देहं पुनर्जन्म नैति मामेति सोऽर्जुन ॥९॥
9. janma karma ca me divyamevaṁ yo vetti tattvataḥ ,
tyaktvā dehaṁ punarjanma naiti māmeti so'rjuna.
9. janma karma ca me divyam evam yaḥ vetti tattvataḥ
tyaktvā deham punarjanma na eti mām eti saḥ arjuna
9. arjuna yaḥ me divyam janma ca karma evam tattvataḥ
vetti saḥ deham tyaktvā punarjanma na eti mām eti
9. O Arjuna, whoever thus truly understands My divine birth and actions (karma), does not experience rebirth after relinquishing the body; rather, he comes to Me.
