भगवद्गीता       bhagavad-gītā - chapter-4, verse-33

श्रेयान्द्रव्यमयाद्यज्ञाज्ज्ञानयज्ञः परंतप ।
सर्वं कर्माखिलं पार्थ ज्ञाने परिसमाप्यते ॥३३॥
33. śreyāndravyamayādyajñājjñānayajñaḥ paraṁtapa ,
sarvaṁ karmākhilaṁ pārtha jñāne parisamāpyate.
33. śreyān dravyamayāt yajñāt jñānayajñaḥ paraṃtapa
sarvam karma akhilam pārtha jñāne parisamāpyate
33. paraṃtapa jñānayajñaḥ dravyamayāt yajñāt śreyān.
pārtha akhilam sarvam karma jñāne parisamāpyate
33. The Vedic ritual (yajña) of knowledge is superior to any Vedic ritual (yajña) performed with material substances, O scorcher of foes. All actions, in their entirety, O son of Pṛthā, are ultimately fulfilled in knowledge.
