भगवद्गीता       bhagavad-gītā - chapter-4, verse-7

यदा यदा हि धर्मस्य ग्लानिर्भवति भारत ।
अभ्युत्थानमधर्मस्य तदात्मानं सृजाम्यहम् ॥७॥
7. yadā yadā hi dharmasya glānirbhavati bhārata ,
abhyutthānamadharmasya tadātmānaṁ sṛjāmyaham.

abhyutthānam adharmasya tadā ātmānaṃ sṛjāmi aham
7. bhārata,
yadā yadā hi dharmasya glāniḥ bhavati,
adharmasya abhyutthānam (bhavati),
tadā ahaṃ ātmānaṃ sṛjāmi.
7. Whenever there is a decline of righteousness (dharma) and an increase of unrighteousness, O descendant of Bharata, then I manifest My own self (ātman).
