योगवासिष्ठः yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-184, verse-32

यावत्संकल्पितं तावद्यथा संकल्पितं तथा ।
यथा संकल्पनगरं कचतीदं जगत्तथा ॥ ३२ ॥

yāvatsaṃkalpitaṃ tāvadyathā saṃkalpitaṃ tathā ,
yathā saṃkalpanagaraṃ kacatīdaṃ jagattathā 32

32. yāvat saṃkalpitam tāvat yathā saṃkalpitam tathā
yathā saṃkalpanagaram kacati idam jagat tathā

32. yāvat saṃkalpitam,
tāvat (asti); yathā saṃkalpitam,
tathā (asti).

tathā idam jagat (kacati).

32. As much as is imagined, so much (of it) exists, and in the manner it is imagined, so it is. Just as a city of imagination appears, so does this world.
