योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-184, verse-23

एकस्यामेव निद्रायां सुषुप्तस्वप्नविभ्रमाः ।
यदा भान्त्यविचित्रायां चित्रा इव निरन्तराः ॥ २३ ॥
ekasyāmeva nidrāyāṃ suṣuptasvapnavibhramāḥ ,
yadā bhāntyavicitrāyāṃ citrā iva nirantarāḥ 23
23. ekasyām eva nidrāyām suṣuptasvapnavibhramāḥ
yadā bhānti avicitrāyām citrā iva nirantarāḥ
23. yadā ekasyām eva avicitrāyām nidrāyām
suṣuptasvapnavibhramāḥ citrā iva nirantarāḥ bhānti
23. Just as, in the single, undifferentiated state of sleep (nidrā), the continuous illusions of deep sleep and dream appear as if they were varied.
