चिन्मात्रमेवमप्युक्तं याति न क्वचिदन्यताम् ।
यस्मात्स्वयं तदेवैवमात्मानं वेत्ति नेतरत् ॥ १३ ॥

Even though it is declared thus, pure consciousness never attains otherness anywhere. This is because that very [consciousness] itself thus knows its own self (ātman), and not anything else.
