योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-101, verse-22

देहाद्देहान्तरप्राप्तौ नव एव महोत्सवः ।
मरणात्मनि किं मूढा हर्षस्थाने विषीदथ ॥ २२ ॥
dehāddehāntaraprāptau nava eva mahotsavaḥ ,
maraṇātmani kiṃ mūḍhā harṣasthāne viṣīdatha 22

22. The transition from one body to another is indeed a new great celebration. What is there in the death of the self (ātman), O deluded ones? Why do you lament when you should be rejoicing?
