अयथाशास्त्रसंचारवृत्तेरर्थेन युध्यते ।
यो नरस्तस्य संग्रामे मृतस्य निरयोऽक्षयः ॥ २६ ॥

yaḥ naraḥ ayathāśāstrasaṃcāravṛtteḥ arthena yudhyate,
tasya saṃgrāme mṛtasya akṣayaḥ nirayaḥ (bhavati).

That man who fights for wealth acquired through conduct not in accordance with the scriptures (śāstra), for him, if he dies in battle, the torment of hell (niraya) is eternal.
