गोरर्थे ब्राह्मणस्यार्थे मित्रस्यार्थे च सन्मते ।
शरणागतयत्नेन स मृतः स्वर्गभूषणम् ॥ २८ ॥

28. O esteemed one (sanmata), one who dies for the sake of a cow, or for a Brahmin, or for a friend, or in the effort to protect a refugee, he, when dead, becomes an ornament to heaven (svarga).
