योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-1, chapter-26, verse-26

दानवा अपि दीर्यन्ते ध्रुवोऽप्यध्रुवजीवितः ।
अमरा अपि मार्यन्ते कैवास्था मादृशे जने ॥ २६ ॥
dānavā api dīryante dhruvo'pyadhruvajīvitaḥ ,
amarā api māryante kaivāsthā mādṛśe jane 26

26. Even demons (dānavas) are torn apart, and even Dhruva (the Pole Star) has an impermanent existence. Even gods (amaras) are killed. What confidence, then, can there be in a person like me?
