वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-4, chapter-23, verse-17

उद्बबर्ह शरं नीलस्तस्य गात्रगतं तदा ।
गिरिगह्वरसंलीनं दीप्तमाशीविषं यथा ॥१७॥
17. udbabarha śaraṃ nīlastasya gātragataṃ tadā ,
girigahvarasaṃlīnaṃ dīptamāśīviṣaṃ yathā.

17. Then Nīla pulled out that arrow, which was lodged in Vāli's body, just as one might pull out a fiery poisonous snake (āśīviṣa) hidden within a mountain cave.
