वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-4, chapter-23, verse-10

अश्मसारमयं नूनमिदं मे हृदयं दृढम् ।
भर्तारं निहतं दृष्ट्वा यन्नाद्य शतधा गतम् ॥१०॥
10. aśmasāramayaṃ nūnamidaṃ me hṛdayaṃ dṛḍham ,
bhartāraṃ nihataṃ dṛṣṭvā yannādya śatadhā gatam.
10. aśmasāramayam nūnam idam me hṛdayam dṛḍham
bhartāram nihatam dṛṣṭvā yat na adya śatadhā gatam
10. nūnam idam me hṛdayam aśmasāramayam dṛḍham yat

10. Surely, this heart of mine is made of iron and is so firm, that even after seeing my husband killed, it has not yet burst into a hundred pieces.
