वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-86, verse-4

तमुवाचाञ्जलिं कृत्वा भरतो ऽभिप्रणम्य च ।
आश्रमादभिनिष्क्रन्तमृषिमुत्तम तेजसं ॥४॥
4. tamuvācāñjaliṃ kṛtvā bharato'bhipraṇamya ca ,
āśramādabhiniṣkrantamṛṣimuttama tejasaṃ.
4. tam uvāca añjalim kṛtvā bharataḥ abhipraṇamya
ca āśramāt abhiniṣkrāntam ṛṣim uttama-tejasam
4. bharataḥ añjalim kṛtvā ca abhipraṇamya āśramāt
abhiniṣkrāntam uttama-tejasam ṛṣim tam uvāca
4. Bharata, having made a gesture of reverence (añjali) and bowed down, spoke to that sage of excellent splendor, who had just come out of his hermitage.
