वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-1, chapter-59, verse-32

विश्वामित्रस्तु धर्मात्मा सर्वदेवैरभिष्टुतः ।
ऋषिभिश्च महातेजा बाढमित्याह देवताः ॥३२॥
32. viśvāmitrastu dharmātmā sarvadevairabhiṣṭutaḥ ,
ṛṣibhiśca mahātejā bāḍhamityāha devatāḥ.
32. viśvāmitraḥ tu dharmātmā sarvadevaiḥ abhiṣṭutaḥ
ṛṣibhiḥ ca mahātejāḥ bāḍham iti āha devatāḥ
32. tu dharmātmā sarvadevaiḥ ṛṣibhiḥ ca abhiṣṭutaḥ
mahātejāḥ viśvāmitraḥ devatāḥ bāḍham iti āha
32. Indeed, Viśvāmitra, the greatly glorious one, whose nature (dharma) was righteousness, and who was praised by all the gods and sages, said to the deities, 'So be it!'
