वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-1, chapter-47, verse-17

तस्यान्तरं विदित्वा तु सहस्राक्षः शचीपतिः ।
मुनिवेषधरो ऽहल्यामिदं वचनमब्रवीत् ॥१७॥
17. tasyāntaraṃ viditvā tu sahasrākṣaḥ śacīpatiḥ ,
muniveṣadharo'halyāmidaṃ vacanamabravīt.

17. Recognizing this opportunity (antara), the thousand-eyed Indra (sahasrākṣa), husband of Śacī, assumed the disguise of a sage and spoke these words to Ahalya.
