तिलेषु वा यथा तैलं घृतं पयसि वा स्थितम् ।
तथा तमसि सत्त्वे च रजोऽप्यनुसृतं स्थितम् ॥६॥

Just as oil (taila) is inherently present in sesame seeds or ghee is situated in milk, similarly, passion (rajas) is also situated and permeated within darkness (tamas) and goodness (sattva).
