अष्टौ वर्षसहस्राणि दिव्यया संख्यया युतम् ।
द्विपञ्चाशत्तथान्यानि सहस्राण्यधिकानि तु ॥३७॥
37. aṣṭau varṣasahasrāṇi divyayā saṃkhyayā yutam .
dvipañcāśattathānyāni sahasrāṇyadhikāni tu.

dvipañcāśat tathā anyāni sahasrāṇi adhikāni tu
37. (It consists of) eight thousand years, reckoned by divine number, and indeed, fifty-two other additional thousands.
