महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-16, verse-27

ततो निजघ्नुरन्योन्यं पेतुश्चाहवताडिताः ।
वमन्तो रुधिरं गात्रैर्विमस्तिष्केक्षणा युधि ॥२७॥
27. tato nijaghnuranyonyaṁ petuścāhavatāḍitāḥ ,
vamanto rudhiraṁ gātrairvimastiṣkekṣaṇā yudhi.
27. ततः निजघ्नुः अन्योन्यम् पेतुः च आहवताडिताः
वमन्तः रुधिरम् गात्रैः विमस्तिष्केक्षणाः युधि
27. ततः आहवताडिताः अन्योन्यम् निजघ्नुः च पेतुः युधि
गात्रैः रुधिरम् वमन्तः विमस्तिष्केक्षणाः (सन्तः)
27. Then, struck by the battle, they violently struck each other, and fell. In the fight, they were vomiting blood from their bodies, their brains and eyes gushing out.
